Rodrigo Araneda Villasante (he/him) is the president of ACATHI, a Catalan organisation formed by and for LGBTIQ+ migrants and refugees. Through ACATHI, he promotes community support, social advocacy, and the defence of rights in the areas of migration, asylum, sexual and gender diversity, housing, participation, and legal autonomy. His involvement in the project stems from ACATHI’s extensive experience working directly with LGBTIQ+ migrants and refugees in Catalonia, as well as its connections with social, academic, and institutional networks.
